Technical Seminars to be Highlight
Of THG Corporation Open House
Northborough, MA – (6-16-2008) According to Tony Cantone, President of The Hope Group LLC, one of the subsidiaries of THG Corporation, an important highlight of the planned Open House and Trade Show at THG Corporation in October, 2008, will be a series of educational workshops and seminars conducted by experts from Parker Hannifin, Kaeser Compressor and other manufacturers that are represented by the three THG Corporation subsidiaries, The Hope Group, Hope Air Systems and Sorensen Systems. During the 1960’s, The Hope Group added stationary air compressors and accessories to its lineup of industrial products. Hope Air Systems (www.HopeAir.com) was designated as the division to carry air compressors, dryers, blowers and other compressed air system products to the New England marketplace. In addition, Hope Air Systems began to establish itself as a designer/fabricator of skid-mounted PET air compressor systems for the bottle blow molding industry on a worldwide basis. Over the past 25 years, Hope Air Systems has successfully installed over 300 PET bottle blowing air compressor systems from Africa, to Asia to North and South America. Today, it represents air compressors from Kaeser Compressor, Kobelco and Champion.

Established originally through the acquisition of the Sorensen Governor brand, Sorensen Systems (www.SorensenSystems.com) continues as a leading provider for new installations, refurbishment projects and station automation for the hydroelectric, power generation, water and waste-water industries. Beyond that, Sorensen Systems has expanded to include process control solutions providing turnkey process equipment, facility planning, installation, testing, verification, certification and maintenance of process control systems. In Rhode Island, The Hope Group is represented by Bosworth Fluid Connectors and its ParkerStore in Cranston RI. Bosworth Fluid Connectors offers Parker hydraulic, pneumatic, fluid connector, o-rings and seals products to the OEM and MRO market. The ParkerStore provides hands-on access to a broad display of hydraulic and industrial hose, hose fittings and adapters, plus tubing and tube fittings. The Cranston RI ParkerStore features a wide range of products to support industrial, mobile and marine customers including, boat builders, boat yards and marinas with products such as Racor diesel and gasoline spin-on filters.

An important part of the total customer service strategy of The Hope Group and the other associated companies of THG Corporation are the five wholly owned ParkerStores located in Bangor ME, Portland ME, Manchester NH, Fitchburg MA and Cranston RI. These retail outlets and stocking locations of The Hope Group provide immediate hands-on hydraulic hose assembly replacement service as well as access to hundreds of thousands of dollars in fluid connector and fluid power components. Each location is staffed by trained technicians capable of diagnosing a hydraulic connection problem and offering an immediate solution. The store inventories are backed by direct computerized access to the $ 4.5 million corporate inventory and the $ 40 million Distranet inventory.
